Through plenaries, presentations, workshops and panel-debates at their city centre campus and the University of East Anglia, NILE aims to stimulate debate and examine what constitutes the state of the art in language teacher and trainer development. There will also be social events to allow for networking and relaxation.
One of the key threads of the conference will be fostering creativity and motivation in learning and teaching so they are especially keen to welcome members of the C Group to submit papers and/or attend. There is a discounted rate for C Group members. Confirmed plenary speakers are Jeremy Harmer, Rod Bolitho and Nicky Hockly. The conference will run from 17.30 Friday 12 August to 12.30 Sunday 14 August. To find out more information, please visit the NILE conference website (www.nile-elt.com/NILE21). |
