Thank you for taking part in the C Group meeting in Manchester.
You expressed an interest in joining the group. If you would like to follow up on this, please send a brief bio (150 words) and a recent photograph to Susan Hillyard ([email protected]) with a copy to Chris Lima ([email protected]).
As you will see from the Minutes and the Position paper (attached), we have made good progress, and the C Group now has some enthusiastic volunteers for specific areas of responsibility. But this momentum can only be maintained through the willingness of members to engage in and share their creative activities. I suggest that you can do this in a number of ways:
a) individually, by sustaining a creative stance to whatever you do in your life and work, even in small ways. This you can share with others in the Group by posting items on Facebook or Twitter (@TheC_group) or by blogging. (Contact for this is Malu Sciamarelli: [email protected])
b) by working with colleagues in your local context to develop more creative materials or practices. This too you can share with others in the same way.
c) by contributing to C Group projects or events, such as workshops or conferences, nationally or internationally. If you plan to do this, please contact the 3-person Steering Group - the Troika. (Amos Paran, Jane Spiro and Chaz Pugliese)
c) by organising events or publications on a larger scale. Besides informing the Troika, also be in touch with Jane Spiro (Events) and Rakesh Bhanot/Joel Josephson(Publications)
I wish you all well. Please note that you do not need to copy me into any replies. These should go to the Troika.
Alan
